Cuban Head of Mission received by Assistant Minister for American Affairs of the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Monrovia, October 14, 2022.- This morning, Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia by the Assistant Minister for American Affairs, Hon. Maxwell P. Vah, with whom she held a fraternal meeting. 

The occasion was propitious for the two diplomats to exchange views on multilateral and global issues, and to reaffirm the interest of both governments to continue strengthening bilateral relations.

 

Tribute to Orlando Lettelier and Ronni Moffitt in Washington, D.C.

The head of Cuba's diplomatic mission in Washington D.C., Lianys Torres Rivera, participated this Thursday in a tribute to Chilean politician Orlando Lettelier and his secretary Ronni Moffitt, assassinated on September 21, 1976 by the Pinochet dictatorship.

Assistant Minister for American Affairs receives Cuban Head of Mission at the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

Monrovia, September 20, 2022 - The Assistant Minister for American Affairs, Honorable Maxwell P. Vah, received in his office at the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed bilateral and multilateral issues of interest to both nations and the prospects for expanding ties for the benefit of both peoples.

The exchange took place in a fraternal atmosphere of mutual respect.
