First medical graduates from Cuba already in Liberia.

Monrovia, September 29, 2023.- The members of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Liberia lived an afternoon of luxury and pride when they received the special visit of the first two Liberians graduated in Cuba in the specialty of Medicine, fruit of the bilateral relations Cuba-Liberia, who were received with a special welcome by the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

Liberia-Cuba Solidarity Group condemns recent terrorist act against Cuban Embassy.

The Liberia-Cuba Solidarity Group issued a statement denouncing and condemning the terrorist act perpetrated last night, September 24, against the Cuban Embassy in Washington, D.C. The solidarity group also condemns the threats against the integrity of Cuban diplomats and Embassies in the United States and other countries. 

G77+China Demands Right to Development at the Future Summit

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez on Thursday reaffirmed the need to guarantee the recognition of the right to development for the countries of the Global South on the route to the Summit of the Future in 2024.

Speaking at the preparatory meeting for that event, organized by the United Nations General Assembly, the head of Cuban diplomacy insisted on the right of the Southern States, grouped in the G77+China, to live without having hunger or poverty as a priority.

Malaysian Foreign Minister arrives in Havana to participate in the G77 Summit

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, YB Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, presides over the Malaysian delegation that arrived this Friday in Havana to participate in the Summit of the Group of 77 plus China.

The minister and his delegation were received today by the Director General of the General Division of Political Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Ambassador Gustavo Machín Gómez.

Cuba reiterates its firm historical position against mercenarism and upholds its active role at the United Nations against that practice. Cuban laws are very explicit in relation to the criminalization of crimes such as trafficking in persons, smuggling of migrants and mercenarism. 


This week, on September 15th and 16th, the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the G-77 and China will be held at the Havana Convention Palace, under the theme "Current Development Challenges: Role of Science, Technology and Innovation", according to the invitation convened by the Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez.

Cuban Foreign Minister remembers foreign service martyrs.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez paid tribute today to the martyrs of the foreign service on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the assassination of diplomat Felix Garcia.

The Cuban Foreign Minister made reference in X, before Twitter, to the horrendous crime committed against García, who was machine-gunned inside his car in the middle of a public street in New York, United States, by the terrorist organization Omega 7.

Cuba will strengthen ties with its emigrants, Díaz-Canel said.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said today that his country will continue to strengthen ties with its nationals abroad, recalling the so-called Dialogue of '78, promoted by historic leader Fidel Castro.

Through his account on X, formerly Twitter, the head of state pointed out that the invitation made by Fidel Castro, to Cubans living in the United States, on September 6, 1978 began a continuous and irreversible path in the relationship between the Caribbean nation and its emigration.
