Cuba was present at the Tourism Fair in the Hague

The Hague, November 9, 2022: Cuba was present at the tourism fair "The Dutch Travel Market 2022", held annually in the Netherlands. This event was attended by the Consul General Lourdes Escobar, along with the JBC tour operator who has been working with Cuba for more than 25 years.

This fair brings together a hundred travel agencies and tour operators that promote dissimilar tourist destinations in the world, including Cuba.

Cuba's Foreign Minister calls for urgent decisions to address climate change

Cuba's Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, today called for strong decisions to address climate change at the Summit on the subject being held in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh.

In his Twitter account, the Foreign Minister pointed out that "debates and negotiations at COP 27 should lead to substantial decisions to avoid the climate catastrophe we are heading for".

He added that "the contribution of developed countries in accordance with the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities cannot be postponed".

The Presidents of the National Olympic Committees of Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago hold a fruitful meeting.

The Presidents of the Cuban Olympic Committee, Roberto León Richards, and the President of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee, Diane Henderson, held a bilateral meeting within the framework of the 20th General Assembly of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC, for its acronym in English), held on November 4 and 5, 2022, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

The international meeting which, during three days, gathered in Havana 145 delegates from 78 parties of communist and workers' affiliation, coming from 60 countries, took place in crucial moments for the world, when humanity is debating between the war promoted by the centers of world capitalism and the aspiration for peace and development to which our peoples have the right.

Tribute to the Day of National Culture at the Embassy of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago.

Port of Spain, October 20, 2022. The group of the diplomatic mission together with representatives of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Cuban residents, the "Trinidad and Tobago Friends of Cuba" Solidarity Association and young graduates in our country, celebrated the National Culture Day. The intonation of the notes of our National Anthem occupied a leading space in the celebration whose origins were explained in detail by one of the Cuban residents.

Emilio Cueto: Cuban culture is extraordinary.

Celebrating culture from abroad has a greater meaning, because it indicates that one has Cuba very present, even if you are not in the soil of the homeland. 
With these words, Cuban American researcher and curator Emilio Cueto, expressed his joy at celebrating this October 20 at the Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C., together with the diplomatic staff of this headquarters and friends of the Island. 

Cuba y Rumanía firman Acuerdo en el dominio de la Salud.

Los ministros de Salud de Cuba y Rumanía se saludan luego de firmar un Acuerdo en materia de Salud en La Habana.

El ministro rumano de Salud, Dr. Alexandru Rafila se encuentra en Cuba para participar en la Convención Cuba- Salud 2022. Este martes el ministro Rafila participó como orador  en el Panel  "Políticas de Salud en respuesta a la Agenda de Salud 2030 dentro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible". En la tarde, junto al ministro cubano de Salud Pública, Dr. Jose Angel Portal Miranda, firmaron un Convenio de Cooperación en el campo de la Salud, que permitirá estrechar los lazos bilaterales en temas tan importantes como las políticas farmaceuticas y  la docencia, entre otros.
