The US Newspaper The Wall Street Journal published on June 8 a totally untrue and unfounded information, according to which there allegedly exists an agreement between Cuba and China in the military area for the establishment of a supposed espionage facility.

Cuban government grants Liberian authorities scholarships in medicine.

Monrovia, June 7, 2023 - The Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera officially handed over this morning to the Liberian authorities two scholarships granted by the Cuban government for students from that West African country to study Medicine at the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) in the 2024 academic year.

The modalities to study Medicine in Cuba have a duration of 6 years, to complete the academic formation of the students.

Cuba advocates from South Africa for a new multilateral world order.

Cuba's First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gerardo Peñalver Portal, advocated here today for a new multilateral world order where solidarity, cooperation and integration among nations prevail.

Speaking at the meeting of foreign ministers of the Friends of the Brics countries, the diplomat stressed that this has been a historic demand that unites the G77 and the Brics Group.

Cuba-EU Joint Council to meet in Havana

Cuba and the European Union will evaluate here today the state of the implementation of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement (PDCA), in the context of the third Joint Council of the parties.

This meeting will be chaired by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, and by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell Fontelles.

60 years of Cuban medical collaboration in the world are remembered

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today recognized the work carried out by the health personnel of this Antillean nation around the world, on the 60th anniversary of that solidarity collaboration.

Kuala Lumpur (May, 12, 2023)- The Spanish World Book Day Celebration was held this Friday, May 12, at the University Malaya, with the presence of the ambassadors of Cuba, Spain, Argentina and Uruguay in Malaysia and representatives for the Embassies of Chile, Mexico and Venezuela.
During the celebration, an exchange of books was carried out between the students and teachers of the Spanish language of the institution and the participating embassies that represented the Spanish-speaking countries.
