Seoul, March 22th, 2021. The Green Climate Fund (GCF) has approved $23.9 million in funding for a coastal resilience project along Cuba's southern coastline.
This funding will be provided by the Green Fund for the first 8 years of the project and will be complemented by $20.3 million from the Cuban government for the implementation of an ecosystem-based adaptation approach to coastal protection.

Namibia, March 17th, 2021- The Ambassador of Cuba to Namibia, Sidenio Acosta Aday, handed over to the Minister of Education, Arts and Culture of this African country, H.E. Mrs. Ester Anna Nghipondoka, and her Deputy Minister, H.E. Mrs. Faustina Namutenya, two letters of invitation from the Cuban Minister of Education, Ena Elsa Velázquez, for both of them to visit the Caribbean island when the epidemiological situation allows it.

Tuesday, March 9, 2021 - The Official Ceremony on the occasion of the commemoration of International Women's Day was held yesterday at the Grand Theater of the Ministerial Complex in Monrovia and was attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.
