Ambassador of Cuba was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Chancellor of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The Cuban Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino was received, in audience, by the Vice Prime Minister and Chancellor of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Sir Louis Straker, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Commerce of the sister Caribbean island.
Statement by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Government of Canada has decided to change the designation of its Embassy in Havana to an unaccompanied post —according to its statement— as a result of the health concerns reported by some of its diplomats back in 2017.
Cuba ratifies —after an extensive investigation conducted by a group of highly-qualified experts— that there is neither a single shred of evidence to explain the symptoms reported by Canadian diplomats, nor any indication that any attack or incident of any kind had ever occurred on Cuban soil, nor that the symptoms reported are associated with acoustic actions, or with actions of any other kind, carried out by any person or group of persons against other persons.
As previously informed in the web site http://misiones.minrex.gob.cu/en/node/1757 and through other means, the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto will no longer accept cash as form of payment for consular fees for the services provided to the Cuban community or to foreign citizens, as of Wednesday May 2nd, 2018.
Senator Julian Francis, General Secretary of the Labor Party (ULP), received Cuban Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino, in the company of Idalmis Brooks Beltrán, Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, on a work visit to San Vicente and the Grenadines.
Idalmis Brooks offered an overview of Cuban news, the role of the Party and youth in the process of transformation and improvement of socialism in Cuba.
