Monrovia, October 20, 2020 - This afternoon, the Head of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Liberia, Hon. Ledgerhood J. Rennie.
During the meeting, which was arranged as a celebration of the "Day of Cuban Culture", one of the topics that prevailed was Cuban culture, its origin and determining role of the Cuban revolution in cultural development.

Monrovia, October 19, 2020 - This morning, the Chargé d'Affaires e.p. of the Embassy of Cuba in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera attended the Swearing-in Ceremony of the new Cabinet Ministers of the government of President George M. Weah.
The activity took place in the Auditorium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was attended by ministers, officials from the Foreign Ministry, members of the diplomatic corps and members of the Senate of the West African country.
Monrovia, October 15, 2020.- In the morning, our diplomatic mission in Liberia received the visit of the Advisor to the Chancellor for American Affairs Hon. Maxwell P. Vah, who had an exchange with the Cuban Chargé d'Affaires in the West African country Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera.
In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, various aspects of the bilateral and multilateral relations were discussed, and hopes were made to maintain their good status.
Cuba has submitted its candidature to the United Nations Human Rights Council for the period 2021-2023, proud to be among the countries whose governments have done much to achieve the widest possible enjoyment of all human rights to all their citizens.
