Monrovia, October 2, 2024 - At the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in the Republic of Liberia, the Cuban Head of Mission in the African country, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, attended a reception on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Guinea.
Monrovia, September 30, 2024.- During a cordial exchange held between the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez and the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Liberia Jeror Cole Bangalu, it is discussed issues of interest to both parties in the area led by Honorable Bangalu.
Special attention was given to the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Liberian youth.
The exchange took place in a cordial and fraternal atmosphere.

During the exchange, Mr. Hounton praised Cuba for the role it has played in the training of human resources on the African continent and for the preparation of health professionals in the Greater Antilles.
