New health partners arrive in Trinidad and Tobago.

Port Spain, January 21th, 2023. This afternoon, another 36 health collaborators arrived in Trinidad and Tobago who will join the Cuban medical brigade that serves in this sister Caribbean country.

Upon arrival at the airport they were received by the Director of Cooperation of the Ministry of Health of Trinidad and Tobago, Anita Sohan and the Ambassador of Cuba on the island, Tania Diego Olite.

Díaz-Canel presides over meeting with Cuban experts and scientists.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez presided over the usual meeting of experts and scientists on health issues on Tuesday afternoon, in which a review was made of everything undertaken during 2022 by Cuban science in the field of health.

The head of state told his interlocutors from the Palace of the Revolution: "Congratulations on the results. In any case, we cannot be confident; and we must go for more".

The transfer of direction of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Saint Kitts and Nevis was carried out.

The delivery and reception of the position of the head of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Saint Kitts and Nevis, concluded this Monday at the Cuban Embassy, ​​with the signing of the act that accredits this process carried out after several days of joint work, between the outgoing doctor Jorge Ceiro Grimón and the new doctor Odalis Abreu Girado.
