Young Cuban-Finnish soccer player dreams of competing with Cuba


In a pleasant meeting, Ambassador Beatriz Parra González received the young soccer player Samuel Mahlamäki, a special member of a Cuban-Finnish family. During the exchange, Mahlamäki was interested in learning about Cuba, which he has called "his second homeland" and the possibilities of competing under its flag in the future. The renowned former volleyball player Jukka Rajakangas, current President of the Raision Loimu Club, the largest and most prestigious in Finland, arrived to the Cuban Embassy in this Nordic capital this Friday. In his meeting with Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, Rajakangas highlighted the wide potential for sports collaboration between both countries, and signified Cuba's notable results in numerous disciplines, which will allow it to start with volleyball and open its potential over time.
