The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba condemns, in the strongest and most absolute terms, the fraudulent designation of Cuba as a State that sponsors terrorism which, in a cynical and hypocritical move, has been announced by the government of the United States.

July 7, 2020, the Organizing Committee of the International Conference for the Normalization of US-Cuba Relations hosted the webinar “Why there are no George Floyd´s in Cuba”. Panelists agreed that in spite of the remaining challenges, the Cuban Revolution set a new social paradigm, which erased inherited structural racism, adopted laws and public policies to guarantee racial equality, and created a new police force whose main task is to protect life.

Havana, Jun 11, 2020.-The director general of the United States Department of Cuba's Foreign Ministry, Carlos Fernández, stated that the US attacks on Cuba seem motivated by frustration as a result of Cuba's successes against Covid-19.

The diplomat Tweeted that the urgency of the US State Department and anti-Cuban politicians to impose punishments on Cuba seems motivated by the 'frustrating' fact 'that we are about to control the pandemic'.

Cuba's inclusion in US list distort true, Foreign Minister says

Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez affirmed on Tuesday that Cuba's inclusion in a US list for lack of cooperation against terrorism is a deliberate act of distorting the truth.

This is a spurious list, the foreign minister posted on his Twitter account.

Rodriguez then wrote that there is concrete evidence of the bilateral collaboration with the United States in the fight against terrorism and in joint enforcement and law enforcement efforts.
