Sponsored by the “Humanistic Solidarity Association Saint Lucia-Cuba”, on the afternoon of Sunday, October 22, the Cuba-Saint Lucia Culture Day was celebrated at the Piaye Secondary School in the southern district of Choiseul, an activity that was attended by leaders of the movement of solidarity with Cuba on the island, with labor parliamentarian Alva Baptiste, as well as with the ambassadors of Cuba and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and officials of said diplomatic missions.
The Cuban Ambassador in Saint Lucia, Jorge Soberon, received on October 4, 2017, at the diplomatic mission, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honorable Leonne Theodore-John. During the meeting, the friendly relationship between the two countries and the support of the Saint Lucian House of Assembly for the development of cooperation were confirmed, particularly in the areas of health and education.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the possible exchange of experiences between artisans from Cuba and Choiseul. Accompanied Ambassador Jorge Soberon the parliamentarian representing that district, Minister Bradly Felix. The tour took place during the celebration season of the Creole culture in Saint Lucia and allowed to verify the skill of the artisans. Craft is an activity that offers opportunities for the development of cultural relations and collaboration between the two Caribbean countries.

The Saint Lucian TV channel, "DBS", broadcasted in its primetime on the night of October 30, 2017, the interview with the Cuban ambassador in Saint Lucia, Jorge Soberon, about the vote on the draft resolution entitled "Need to put end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba", which will take place next Tuesday, November 1, within the framework of the 72nd Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

The Saint Lucian Minister responsible for foreign trade, Bradly Felix, heads the delegation of his country that is participating in the most important commercial fair in Cuba (FIHAV), whose new edition was inaugurated on October 30 in Havana to continue developing trade and investments.

Ulaanbaatar, October 25, 2017. The Hon. Mr. Tsogtbaatar new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia held a meeting this morning with Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción. At the meeting, the Cuban Ambassador congratulated the Minister on his appointment as head of the Mongolian Foreign Ministry and expressed his satisfaction at the good state of the political relations between the two countries that have had diplomatic relations for 57 years.
Ulaanbaatar. October 20, 2017. The Hon. Mr. Khaltmaagiin Battulga, newly elected President of Mongolia, received today the Ambassador of Cuba, Excmo. Sr. Raúl Delgado Concepción, who handed him a congratulatory letter from the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, Hon. Mr. Raul Castro Ruz, for his victory in the presidential elections that took place last July in Mongolia.
Ulaanbaatar. October 18, 2017. Mr. Ts. Sharavjamts, President of the Physical Culture and Sport Authority, Implementary Agency of the Government of Mongolia held a meeting with Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción this morning, where aspects related to cooperation in sports between the two countries were discussed. With the signing of a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement between INDER and this implementing agency in 2001, the first sports collaboration actions were started for the recruitment of Cuban boxing coaches who worked in Mongolia in different periods of time.
