The Chairman of Committee on External Affairs of the Parliament of India receives the Cuban Ambassador.

New Delhi, March 22, 2017. The Chairman of Committee on External Affairs of the Parliament of India, Dr. Shashi Tharoor and Ambassador Oscar Martínez Cordoves held a cordial meeting where they exchanged on interparliamentary relations and the possibility of strengthening ties, in the framework of the forthcoming visit to India of a delegation of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) of the Republic of Cuba chaired by Ms. María Yolanda Ferrer Gomez, President of the Commission on International Relations of the National Assembly. INVITATION TO THE RADIO AND TV CONVENTION CUBA 2017

The Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT) invites executives, producers and experts in general, to participate in the Radio & Television Convention Cuba 2017, and International Expo-Fair which will be held on September 10-15, 2017 at the Palace of Conventions in Havana, Cuba, in order to promote the exchange of ideas, cooperation and commercialization of technology, products and services.

Cuban connection

The cultural exchange with Cuba and Success Laventille Secondary School has had numerous benefits, not only for the school, but for the students and nation as a whole.

It all began when the school became involved in a pilot music literacy programme supported by Pete the Panstick software where the children leaned to play the tenor pan as well as business and entrepreneur skills. 

 Success Laventille principal Hamida Baksh developed a relationship with Sanch Electronix Ltd, which provided the software, and she approached managing director Simeon Sandiford who had Cuban business connections

Cuban Institutions and IAEA Review Bilateral Cooperation

Dazhu Yang, Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will visit the Agency of Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technologies (AENTA), as part of his official visit to Cuba.
 
Yang will meet with AENTA president, Daniel Lopez, to exchange on the state of technical cooperation. Directors of the National Nuclear Safety Center, as well as from the Ministries of Public Health, Food Industry and Agriculture, will also participate.
 

Cuba and Vietnam sign cooperation agreements on health

Cuba and Vietnam signed health cooperation agreements to strengthen the cooperation in this sector, through which the island will provide professional services to the Indochina nation.

One of the documents was signed by Juana María Larrea, on behalf of Cuban Medic al Services (CSMC) and Vu Thi Thanh Giang, from the International General Hospital Thu Cuc, in the presence of the deputy minister Marcia Cobas, who led the delegation of the Caribbean country.

Ulaanbaatar. March 16, 2017. With the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. A.Tsogtsetseg, a Letter of Intent was signed this morning between the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) of Cuba and the Central Hospital No. 1 of Mongolia which reflects the intention of both institutions to promote medical programs and therapies based on Cuban biotechnological medicines. The document was signed by the Cuban side by Dr. Eulogio Pimentel, Director of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, and by the Mongolian side the General Director of Central Hospital No.

Information Note: Remodeling of the Cuban Consular Section in Austria (with jurisdiction in Slovenia and Croatia)

As it was previously announced, the offices of the Cuban Consular Section in Austria shall be structurally remodeled in order to provide our users with a better comfort and security to deliver a better service. The remodeling work shall start on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 and they shall continue during all that month of April.

Cuba and Austria take cooperation between their Ministries of Justice forward

The Federal Minister for Justice of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Wolfgang Brandstetter received the Cuban delegation led by the Deputy-minister for Justice Mr. Francisco Eduardo García Henríquez in the headquarters of the Austrian ministry. It was a fruitful meeting in which both parties ratify their will to take their existing cooperation relation forward through the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the ministers of both countries in December 2015.
