For the first time in Kuwait, Festival of Cuban cuisine
Kuwait, October 6, 2016. With the presence of Cuban chefs Ciro Eddy Fernandez Monte, President of the Federation of Culinary Associations of Cuba and Odlavin M Castellanos, Vice President of this organization, took place on 4 and 5 October in the Six Palms Restaurant at Marina Hotel for the first time in Kuwait a festival of Cuban cuisine .
The diplomatic corps in Tehran were invited to visit the 9th Festival and Exhibition of Nanotechnology of Iran (Nano Iran) organized by the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC). It is taking place from 5 to 8 October at the International Permanent Fairground. Cuba was represented by Ambassador Vladimir González Quesada.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Tehran and concurrent in Baghdad, Vladimir González Quesada, met with his Iraqi counterpart, Rageh Al-Musawi, to review the bilateral relations between the Island and the Arab nation.
Ambassador Vladimir González Quesada had an interview with Dr. Ahmad Nategh Noori, president of the Iran Boxing Federation (IBF) interested in resuming the historic collaboration with Cuba in this sports discipline. Delegations presided over respectively by Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Director General of the US Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Mari Carmen Aponte, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, and Jonathan Finer, Chief of Staff and Director of Policy Planning for the Secretary of State, met on September 30 in Washington on the occasion of the fourth meeting of the Cuba-US Bilateral Commission.
