Monrovia, December 18, 2020 - This morning, Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera held a virtual meeting with Liberian Foreign Minister Dee Maxwell Kemayah. In said meeting, the most relevant events for Liberia during the current year were highlighted.
This meeting was the last exchange of the year that the Liberian Chancellor will have with the members of the diplomatic corps based in the country.

Monrovia, December 7th, 2020 - Today, on the anniversary of the fall in combat of Antonio Maceo, the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group issued an official statement condemning the new campaign of aggression and provocation against Cuba financed and organized by the United States with the aim of destabilizing the Cuban people and sowing chaos.
Monrovia, November 26, 2020 - This morning, the Cuban Head of Mission in Monrovia, Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of the African Methodist Episcopal University of Liberia, Professor Augustine Konneh, who was also Director General of the Foreign Service Institute of Liberia.
During the meeting, both parties ratified their willingness to work towards strengthening bilateral relations in the field of education.
Monrovia, November 23, 2020 - The Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association exalted the figure of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, during a tribute to the fourth anniversary of his passage to immortality.
In the speeches of two of its members, they highlighted the validity of the legacy of humanism, solidarity and internationalism of the Commander in Chief.
Monrovia, November 21, 2020 - On the fourth anniversary of the physical disappearance of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander Fidel Castro, Liberian friends and professionals trained in Cuba paid tribute to him in remembrance to which they are eternally grateful for having given them the opportunity to become good men.
