Monrovia, March 25, 2021.- Members of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group graduated from Cuba followed with attention the virtual conference "Cuba for Life: Experiences in confronting COVID-19" promoted by the "Sao Paulo Forum" as part of the Campaign #BlockadeNoSolidarityYes.
The event was an excellent occasion to note the signs of solidarity of brothers and sisters around the world, and the recognition of our science and health experts for the work they do.
Monrovia, March 19, 2021.- In the afternoon, Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Acting Chancellor of the Republic of Liberia, Honorable Henry B. Fahnbulleh.
The cordial meeting was conducive to exchange on matters of mutual interest in the bilateral and multilateral arena. Both sides stressed the importance of further strengthening ties between the two countries.
Monrovia, March 17, 2021 - Members of the Liberia-Cuba friendship group participated in the international virtual event against the blockade which had as its central theme, together with damages caused by the blockade, the media war against Cuba; and the denunciation of subversive projects and actions against the Cuban Revolution.
Monrovia, March 11, 2021 - This morning, the Head of the Cuban Mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera was received at the Foreign Ministry of the West African country by the Advisor to the Chancellor on Honorary Affairs of the Americas, Maxwell P. Vah.
During the fruitful meeting, they reviewed issues of the ongoing bilateral agenda whose realization will contribute to the deepening of relations between the two countries.

Monrovia, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 - At the invitation of former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera visited the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development where she was warmly received.
After a tour of the Presidential Center, the former Liberian president invited the Cuban diplomat to attend a round table discussion on women's political leadership in Liberia, with the participation of leaders and senators of the West African country.
Monrovia, February 17, 2021 - Advisor to Liberia's Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Kesselee K. Kanneh, welcomed the opportunity to once again condemn the U.S. blockade of Cuba, this time in the sphere of sports.
Mr. Kanneh, a graduate with a degree in Physical Culture, demanded the lifting of the cruel and inhuman blockade against the largest of the Antilles during the virtual event "Sports in Cuba: Another Target of the US Blockade", which was held in coordination with the Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
