The Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning of the Republic of Cuba, Alejandro Gil Fernández, met this weekend with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, YB Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir.

The Asian foreign minister was visiting Cuba, presiding over the Malaysian delegation that participated in the Summit of the Group of 77 plus China, which took place between September 15 and 16, 2023 in Havana.

At the meeting they discussed topics of mutual interest for both nations.

Cuba and Ethiopia strengthen their bilateral relations

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Demeke Mekonnen Hassen,  during the just-concluded G-77 plus China Summit.

G77+China Summit concludes in Havana, Cuba

La Havana, 16 september, 2023._  The G77+China Summit concluded on Saturday in Havana, capital of Cuba, after two days of work, in which heads of state and government or government representatives of the member countries discussed the current challenges imposed by science, technology and innovation for development.

In his closing remarks, the Cuban Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, thanked on behalf of the Cuban people and government for the expressions of rejection of the U.S. blockade against the island, as well as the solidarity and support for Cuba.
