Fruitful meeting between Ambassador of Cuba and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nigeria.

Nigeria, July 20, 2022.- The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nigeria, Her Excellency. Mr. Mohammad Mahmood Abubakar, held a dialogue at the headquarters of this ministry on Friday, in which they highlighted the excellent state of bilateral relations.

Nigeria, July 7, 2022. The member of the Political Bureau of the Party and Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent, through Twitter, heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian people and government for the sudden death of the director general of the Organization of Exporting Countries of Oil (OPEC), Mohammad Barkindo, this Tuesday, at the age of 63.

News of his death came just hours after a meeting in Abuja with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, who had highlighted his work at OPEC.
