During the last few weeks some of our fellow nationals have been facing difficulties when attempting to travel to countries of our region under the new requirement of obtaining a visa to visit to or travel in transit through some of them.  This is a complex situation that is being closely followed by the Cuban government and has multiple causes.

Nigeria, March 23, 2022.- The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, received an important delegation from the Nigerian Workers' Congress (NLC) at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission.

The moment was propitious to address issues of common interest, they also discussed regional and international news. The exchange took place in a cordial atmosphere, a reflection of the special friendly relations between this union and Cuba.

Nigeria, March 19, 2022.- The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, offered an interview to the journalist Owei Lakenfa in the "Diplomatic Hour" program broadcast by the Nigerian radio station FM 93.7.

In this, which was the first of a group of interviews planned with different representatives of the diplomatic corps stationed in Abuja, Cuba had the honor of being the first to be able to transmit its points of view through a national radio station.

Esimone at the headquarters of the Cuban embassy in Abuja, accompanied by the Director of International Collaboration, professor Ifeoma Enweani-Nwokelo and Dr. Sunday O. Nduka, Deputy Director of this prestigious institution.

The moment was propitious to address issues of common interest about the academic framework and history of this house of studies as well as its future perspectives.

Ambassador of Cuba visits the House of Representatives of Nigeria.

Nigeria, February 26, 2022.  The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, paid a visit to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Nigeria, where she held a meeting with the Honorable Prince Akiolu Moshood Kayode, president of the Nigeria-Cuba Friendship Group in the House of Representatives.

The moment was propitious to address issues of common interest and to strengthen parliamentary ties and assess the work agenda for the benefit of deepening bilateral relations between Cuba and Nigeria.
