Mr. Chairman,

Cuba endorses the Statement delivered by the Islamic Republic of Iran on behalf of NAM.  

The Government of Cuba reiterates its unavoidable commitment to promote and strengthen a genuine Rule of Law, which will undoubtedly allow us to change the unjust international order.

Cuba associates itself with the statements delivered by the delegations of the Islamic Republic of Iran on behalf of NAM and El Salvador on behalf of CELAC.

We further thank the Secretary-General for presenting his report A/73/125 on this important subject.

The Cuban delegation is grateful to you for convening this meeting of the Committee on Relations with the Host Country, and we seize this opportunity to reiterate once again our full support and express our best wishes in your tenure in this year that has just begun.

As members of the Committee on Relations with the Host Country, we work to ensure that it timely addresses all issues that arise in the relations among the Organization, the Member States and the Host Country.
