Photo exhibition at the Cuban Embassy.

Wellington, May 26. An exhibition of photos of Cuba was inaugurated at the headquarters of our Embassy, ​​the result of a contest organized by the Young Professionals League (YPN) of the Latin American New Zealand Business Council (LANZBC) with the support of the Embassy.

The president of YPN, Juan Lara, and Ambassador Edgardo Valdés gave the opening remarks, in which they highlighted the importance of joint work in disseminating information about our region in new and varied ways.

Cuba Day at Massey University.

Palmerston North, May 25. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés and Consul Dalila Vázquez traveled to this city to participate in several events related to Cuba, convened by the Massey University Student Association (MUSA) and the local chapter of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs. (NZIIA).

After a tour of the facilities, they officially opened an exhibition of photos about Cuba, taken by New Zealand tourists who have visited the island.

Wellington, March 27. An exhibition of photos about Cuba, taken by New Zealand tourists who visited us, was attended by several hundred people during the weekend, as part of the Cuba Dupa Festival, one of the most important in the city.

Diplomats, artists, businessmen, and the general public enjoyed the photos, music, Cuban food, and mojitos, which allowed them to get closer to Cuba in a party atmosphere.
