Cuban Ambassador visits Fidel Castro headquarters of the Anchovy High School

Kingston, Jamaica, 30 March 2022. A representation of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica, headed by Ambassador Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, visited the Fidel Castro headquarters of the Anchovy Secondary School, in the parish of Saint James, to participate in the ceremony to thank the Board of Governors leaving that school.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. November 25, 2018. A heartfelt tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, took place today at the Cuban Embassy in Mongolia. In commemoration of the second anniversary of his physical disappearance, the Cuban Residents, the President of the Mongolia Cuba Friendship Association, the Mongolian Graduates Association in Cuba, the Ambassadors of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic, participated in the evening held in evocation of the father and guide of the Cuban Revolution.

Vietnames leaders welcomed Cuban First Vice President

The first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, was welcomed in Hanoi by the Secretary General of Vietnam Communist Party (VCP), the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the leader of the National Assembly.

Valdés Mesa talked with the leader of VCP, Nguyen Phu Trong, about the importance of his last visit to Cuba, last March, when both countries reached new agreements in order to expand bilateral political and economic ties.

Despite the geographical distance and economic limitations, regionally Cuba is home to the most African embassies, a continent with which it shares many historic and cultural ties. 
With the opening of the Kenyan Embassy in the Cuban capital, set to take place this Friday March 16, there will now be 22 nations from Sub-Saharan Africa with diplomatic missions in the country, according to information by the Cuban Foreign Ministry.

Members of the Association of Friendship Cuba-Denmark and members of the solidarity group Patria Grande, with the support of Christiania’s commune in Copenhagen, paid tribute to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution on the occasion of the first anniversary of his death by planting a tree, next to which they placed a stone dedicated to Fidel. The Embassy of Cuba in Denmark attended to the ceremony, as well as the Ambassadors of Venezuela, Bolivia, Algeria and Iran, among other diplomats.

Heartfelt tribute to the Commander in Chief in Vienna

A year after his journey to immortality, the Embassy of Cuba in Austria, “ÖKG”, the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association and “CubaVa”, the Association of Cuban Residents convened in Vienna a heartfelt homage and remembrance to the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
