‘Kangamba’ on Ghana National Television to celebrate Cuba Culture Day.

Accra, 20 October, 2024. - As part of the activities to celebrate Cuban Culture Day, the Ghanaian television channel Pan African TV decided to include in its programming for October 19 and 20, at 08:00 and 04:00 PM respectively, the screening of the Cuban film “Kangamba”, by Cuban filmmaker Rogelio Paris.

Accra, 19 October, 2024. - The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Ghana was honoured with the presence of Cubans living in the African country to celebrate Cuba Culture Day with games and the screening of the film Habanastation. The event also featured national melodies and dominoes.

Accra, 18 October 2024. - In coordination with the Director of the Centre for Latin American Studies of the University of Ghana, Professor Benedicta A. Lomotey, an exchange on Cuban culture took place at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Accra. The event, which concluded with the screening of the film ‘Innocence’, was attended by students and professors of the aforementioned prestigious university.

Towards the end of the month of July this year, some articles published by   the newspaper The Miami Herald and others of the McClatchy news publishing company, to which it belongs, started to launch a new slanderous campaign against Cuba. In order to prop up their allegations, they have made reference to the existence of anonymous intelligence, a common practice resorted to by the aforementioned media group and their editors when lies become the essence of their reports.
