The trend towards control of COVID-19 in Cuba continues
With one case reported during the day on Monday and the closing of the local transmission event in the Havana municipality of La Lisa, Cuba maintains the trend of control of COVID-19.
In view of Cuba's numbers, which continue to be really encouraging -- only 39 confirmed persons and 95% of patients already recovered -- Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz insisted on not letting down our guard with the active investigations in the communities, which have given so much results in the fight against the pandemic.

Cuba reports only one new case of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours
Havana, June 30, 2020 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there was only one new case detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,341 positive cases across the island.

Cuba reports eight new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours Havana, June 29 (RHC)-- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were eight new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,340 positive cases across the island.
Cuba's agenda focuses on return to normalcy
Havana, June 27, 2020 --The steps taken towards a three-phase return to normalcy in Cuba are the focus of the Caribbean country's government agenda, as recovery advances throughout the territory except for the capital.
At the daily meeting to evaluate the development of the disease, headed by President Miguel Díaz-Canel, it was reported the day before that the rate of patients recovering from the new coronavirus was 93.8 percent.

The 20th Political Council and the 10th Economic Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples´ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP, by its Spanish initials) will be held on 29 June. The joint meeting is the result of an agreement adopted during the High-Level Conference on Economy, Finance and Trade in the Framework of COVID-19, held on 10 June 2020.
