During yesterday’s meeting of the COVID-19 task force, led by President of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, Minister of Public Health José Angel Portal Miranda reported that 94% of patients with SARS-COV-2 in Cuba have recovered and, as of Tuesday, only one was in serious condition, with the other 67 hospitalized patients responding positively to treatment.

Cuba reports two new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours
Havana, July 16, 2020 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were two new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,440 positive cases across the island.
No serious or critical coronavirus patients reported in Cuba
Havana, July 16, 2020-- With the good news that at the close of the day on Wednesday, Cuba did not report any patients in a serious or critical condition, the Minister of Public Health, José Angel Portal Miranda, updated the current situation of the country during the meeting of the temporary working group for the prevention and control of COVID-19, headed by President Miguel Díaz-Canel and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.

Cuba reports four new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours
Havana, July 14, 2020-- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were four new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,432 positive cases across the island.
