Cuba reiterates zero tolerance policy against human trafficking
Geneva, Jul 3, 2020.- Cuba on Friday maintains its 'Zero Tolerance' policy for any form of human trafficking, Jairo Rodriguez, Cuban diplomat, said.
During an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur of the United Nations Organization (UN) Maria Grazia Giammarinaro, Jairo Rodriguez said that Cuba continues implementing the Action Plan against this phenomenon (2017-2020), "a pivotal tool of the State and civil society to guarantee the prevention and confrontation of this crime, as well as the protection of the victims"

Cuba reports eight new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours
Havana, July 6, 2020 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were eight new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,380 positive cases across the island.
President Díaz-Canel to Participate in ILO Global Summit on COVID-19 and the World of Work

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez will participate in the Global Leaders´ Day of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Summit on COVID-19 and the world of work, to be held online on 8 July, with the participation of Heads of State and Government and prominent employer and trade union leaders.
