Cuba in Grenada

Grenada demands that Cuba be removed from the arbitrary list of state sponsors of terrorism.

St George, June 10. In a note sent to the Cuban Embassy in Grenada, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development made explicit its support for the Cuban government and people in the face of the economic aggression that they are being subjected to.  The note states Grenada’s concern that Cuba continues to be on the State Department's list of countries that are state sponsors of terrorism and demanded its immediate elimination.

St. George, May 17. The president of the Senate of Grenada, Senator the Honorable Dr. Dessima Williams, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Grenada Mrs. Ivette Martínez Leyva at the Parliament House headquarters, in Mt Wheldale.  During the friendly meeting, the head of the Upper House of Parliament expressed her admiration for the Cuban revolutionary work and her willingness to strengthen parliamentary ties. She also recognized the cooperation and training of human resources that Cuba has provided to Grenada.

St George, May 7th. The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Economy of Grenada, Honorable Senator Adrian A. Thomas, accompanied by his advisor Naline Joseph and, Operations Manager of Creative Affairs Tracy Baptiste, participated in the FitCuba 2024 International Tourism Fair in Jardines del Rey, Cayo Coco.  FitCuba 2024 was a great festival for the tourism sector, where its exhibitors showed the renewal of the Cuban tourism product, the digitalization of processes to improve the customer experience and the transformation of products with greater accessibility.
