Guyana, Georgetown. August 25th , 2023. The President of the Private Sector  Commission of Guyana, Mr. Komal Singh received the Ambassador of Cuba to Guyana, Jorge Francisco Soberón Luis. During the meeting, they assessed the opportunities for investment and business between both countries and the will  to strengthen the economic, commercial, and financial ties between Guyana and Cuba



97th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution

Georgetown, Guyana. The State Mission of Cuba to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana celebrates the 97th  anniversary of Fidel Castro's birth with the presence of the former President, Donald Ramotar, friends of #Cuba, the Medical Brigade, and the staff of the Embassy. 

60 Years of Medical Collaboration in Guyana

On August 9, 2023, the official newspaper Guyana Chronicle highlighted the  60 years of medical cooperation of Cuba in the nation emphasizing that Cuba stands as a shining example of international collaboration and humanitarianism. The legacy of the Cuban Medical Brigades serves as a testament to the power of compassion and expertise, bridging nations, and transcending borders to make the world a healthier and safer place for all.

Cuba and Guyana sign new Medical Cooperation Agreement

Guyana, July 21, 2023. Today, the signing of a new Medical Cooperation Agreement took place at the Guyana Ministry of Health, with the presence of its Minister, Honorable Doctor Frank Anthony, the Ambassador of Cuba to Guyana, Jorge Francisco Soberón Luis who signed the Agreement, which elevates Cuba's medical cooperation with Guyana to a higher level. There were also present the Chief of the Cuban Medical Brigade to Guyana, Dr. Ineldo Ruiz Arcia, and other officials from the Ministries of Health of both countries.
