Saint Catherine, May 19, 2022. Yesterday morning, a representation of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica attended the Health Fair organized by the "José Martí" Technical High School, in Spanish Town. The event aimed to bring medical care closer to students and teachers of the teaching facility, built and donated by Cuba to the people of Jamaica in the 1970s.
Riyadh, December 29th - Based on the cultural agreement in force between the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Yemen, Cuban authorities decided to grant eight scholarships to Yemeni students to begin their medical studies on the Island, at the school year 2021-2022.
The scholarships were handled with the Department of Collaboration that Cuba Offers at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX), through the agile coordination between the Embassy of Cuba in Saudi Arabia -with concurrence in Yemen- and his Yemeni counterpart.

Ms. Amarjargal Yandam, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia was received at the Cuban diplomatic mission in Ulaanbaatar by the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción. At the meeting where discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation on health between both nations.
Ulan Bator, Mongolia. April 9, 2019. With the participation of Mrs. L. Byambasuren Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia and Mr. B. Byambadorj, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, were presented the National Guidelines for the Implementation of the State Policy Plan for Health in Mongolia. With the collaboration of the Asian Development Bank and the Poverty Reduction Fund of the Government of Japan, the draft Implementation Plan of the Mongolian Health Policy for the period 2019-2024 was launched.
The Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba, committed to the solidarity and humanist principles that have guided Cuba’s medical cooperation for 55 years, has been participating in Brazil’s “More Doctors” program since its inception in August of 2013. This initiative launched by Dilma Rousseff, who was at that time the president of the Federal Republic of Brazil, pursued the noble purpose of guaranteeing medical assistance to the majority of the Brazilian people, following the principle of universal health coverage promoted by the World Health Organization.
