Minister of State of the Indian Foreign Ministry attends tribute to José Martí.

The Embassy of Cuba in India, in collaboration with the "8one Foundation", held an activity in tribute to our National Hero José Martí, on the occasion of the 127th anniversary of his fall in combat. The event took place at the International Indian Center (IIC), one of the most important cultural spaces in the city, and was attended by Meenakashi Lekhi, Minister of State of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, who in her remarks had words of praise for the universal ideals of Martí in his struggle for independence and his commitment and duty to the Homeland.

Cuba attended the 11th National Conference of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI).

The International Session of the 11th National Conference of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), held on May 14 in the city of Calcutta, was inaugurated with the reading of the draft resolution in solidarity with Cuba and condemnation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States on the Cuban people.

Cuba participates in conference on environment in the Indian city of Chandigarh.

The Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, participated in the International Conference on Environmental Diversity and its Jurisprudence, a National and International Perspective". The Conference, held at the Institute of Legal Studies of the University of Chandigarh, was also attended by the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu, and the Governor of the State of Punjab, Banwarilal Purohit.
