The Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in India, Malena Rojas Medina, participated in the International Session of the 19th Congress of the All India Forward Bloc Party held in Hyderabad, a city in the Indian state of Telangana.

Cuban poet Alex Pausides represented Cuba at the International Conference on relations between Latin America and India, "Connected Histories, Shared Present: Intercultural Experiences between Latin America, the Caribbean and India", held in New Delhi in February. The event was organized by the cultural institutions, the International Indian Center (IIC) and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), and was attended by leading writers and academics from Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Hon'ble Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, participated in the G77 plus China Education Ministers' Meeting held on February 2 in Havana. The central theme of the meeting was: "Science, technology and innovation for quality education. Educational challenges in the post-pandemic context".
