India presents at FIHAV.
A large business delegation from India has been present at the Havana International Fair, Cuba's premier business forum. The Indian Pavilion, organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the International Economic and Trade Organization (IETO) and the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil), has the presence of more than thirty companies from different sectors, many of which are attending FIHAV for the first time.

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) sent a message of solidarity with the Cuban people and government. Its Chairman, Md. Shah Alam, and its General Secretary, Ruhin Hossain Prince strongly condemned the illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade of the US government against Cuba and demanded its lifting.
The CPB condemned the damage caused to the Cuban people for more than 60 years, the intensification of this inhumane policy during the COVID-19 pandemic and the inclusion of Cuna in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

The Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marín, gave a press conference at the Press Club of India on the United Nations General Assembly Report "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba"; its presentation for the thirtieth time in this framework; and the historic support of the international community, demanding the lifting of this criminal policy.
India joins the UN General Assembly's call against the blockade.
Cuba presented for the thirtieth time draft Resolution A/77/L.5: "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba" at the United Nations General Assembly. The international community confirmed, once again, the almost unanimous call for an end to the blockade, with 185 votes in favor of the resolution presented.
