Cuba in India

Solidarity with Cuba in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

An act of solidarity with Cuba was held in Vijayawada, capital of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, organized by the organization "People's Literature" and the Communist Party of India. The meeting was attended by several of its leaders and about seventy people, who welcomed the Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin.

Cuban culture present at the University of India.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India participated in the cultural activities held at the Indian University "Jesus and Mary College", which was attended by more than 300 university students from Delhi and part of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.

As part of the event, the Cuban Mission presented a stand, where visitors could learn about the history, culture and tourism of our country, with the presentation of various books, brochures, photographs, paintings, handicrafts, music and Cuban dance.

Tribute to Che Guevara in India on the 55th anniversary of his death.

The Cuban Embassy in India paid tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara, the heroic guerrilla fighter, on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of his fall in Bolivia. During the event, the relevance of his revolutionary, solidarity and internationalist thinking was highlighted, which is still valid and continues to inspire new generations in the struggle for the defense of just causes.

Students from Hyderabad are inspired by Cuban culture.

More than 500 students, between the ages of 9 and 14, from five public schools in Hyderabad, capital of the Indian state of Telangana in southern India, participated in a painting competition organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba. The students were inspired by Cuban culture to develop their creative capacity on the occasion of National Culture Day, to be celebrated next October 20 in our country, date on which the 154th anniversary of the first singing of the National Anthem will be commemorated.

Indian students pay tribute to José Martí.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India in collaboration with the Eight Goals One Foundation organized an activity in homage to our National Hero José Martí at the Bluebells International School in New Delhi.
