Cuba and India establish academic cooperation in the field of Ayurveda.

Cuba and India established academic collaboration in the field of Ayurvedic medicine after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the University of Medical Sciences of Havana and the Ayurveda Institute of India. The bilateral document was initialed by the Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas, representing the top Cuban university center, under the Ministry of Public Health and by Professor Tanuja Manoj Nesari, Director of the Ayurveda Institute of India, under the Ministry of AYUSH of this country.

Solidarity with Cuba by Indian organization ISCUF.

An event of solidarity with Cuba was held in the city of Cuttack, in the Indian state of Odisha, as part of the activities of the 23rd National Conference of the Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship (ISCUF). 

Cuban Ambassador Alejandro Simancas Marin attended the event and expressed his gratitude for the expressions of solidarity and friendship with our country. He also highlighted ISCUF's relevant contribution to the strengthening of bilateral regarding, which will celebrate its 63rd anniversary on January 12.

On November 25, Cuba's Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, held an exchange with the students and the main authorities of the Kristu Jayanti College in the city of Bangalore, capital of the state of Karnataka, in the south of the country.

Cuban Ambassador participates in business forum in Bangalore.

The Indian Economic and Trade Organization (IETO) held on November 25 a business forum with Latin America in the city of Bangalore, capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. The meeting was attended by more than fifty businessmen from the city, considered the main center of high technology in India.
