Dublin, May 30, 2021. Representatives of various Cuban solidarity organizations and friendly political parties, together with members of the Association of Cuban residents and their families, held today in front of the United States Embassy in this capital a demonstration that demands that the government of President Joe Biden put an end to the criminal policy of economic, commercial and financial blockade against the Cuban people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba rejects, in the strongest possible terms, the US State Department’s certification of Cuba as country that is not cooperating fully with the United States counterterrorism efforts, published by the Federal Register of that country on May 25, 2021.
Following the Covid-19 restrictions in both countries Ireland and Cuba, the Embassy and its Consular Office will continue to remain closed for face-to-face appointments until further notice.

The Association of Cubans residing in Ireland "Che Guevara" and friends of the various organizations that make up the Irish movement of solidarity with Cuba, prepare new actions to support the island in the fight against the economic, commercial and financial blockade, imposed by the North American government for more than 60 years.
This time the appointment will be on Sunday, May 30th at noon, in front of the North American Embassy in Dublin.
Dublin, May 5, 2021. Members of the parliamentary friendship groups of Cuba and Ireland held a virtual meeting this afternoon which was opened by Sean O Fearghail, president of the Chamber of Deputies of Ireland, who conveyed a fraternal greeting to the people and Cuban parliamentarians. He recognized the strength of the Cuban health system and its success in facing the pandemic.
