Dublin, March 9, 2018. Comrade Ethel Buckley, Deputy Secretary General of the Services Industrial Professionals and Technical Union (SIPTU), received the Cuban Ambassador Hugo René Ramos Milanes, who moved greetings from the Cuban Workers' Federation and reaffirmed the willingness of the Cuban Embassy to help strengthen the bonds of fraternal friendship and collaboration between the Irish and Cuban Trade Unionists.

Dublin, February 21, 2017, the Ambassador of Cuba in Ireland,  Mr. Hugo René Ramos Milanés,  held a meeting at Parliament's headquarters with Deputy Thomas Pringle, President of the Irish Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba and Deputy Maureen O'Sullivan, member of that group and Vice President of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Chamber.

Dublin, January 30, 2018. The Cuban Ambassador to Ireland, Hugo René Ramos Milanes, held a working interview with Niall Burgess, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In the meeting that took place in a friendly atmosphere, the level reached by bilateral relations was evaluated, which had a particularly important moment in February 2017, marked by the official visit to Cuba of President Michael D. Higgins.

From January 26 to 28, Dublin celebrates its traditional International Tourism Fair in which the Cuban tourism industry has been represented through the Cuban Office of Tourism with headquarters in London, the Embassy of Cuba in Ireland and the Local Travel Agency " CubaTravel ", specialized in promoting our tourist destination. The Fair brings together tourist agencies from around the world and is the most important event among those held by Ireland for this sector.
