President of Kenya welcomed Cuban doctors.

Uhuru Kenyatta, president of Kenya, offered today a warm welcome to the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, during the ceremony for the launching of the childhood vaccination campaign and to bid a farewell to the Cuban doctors, who left to fulfill their mission in all the Kenyan counties.

Kariuki, Minister of Health of Kenya, received today in Nairobi the delegation of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, led by Dr. Jorge Delgado Bustillo, deputy director of the Central Unit of Medical Collaboration, who brought a message from his Cuban counterpart, Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda.
Cuban medical cooperation begins in Kenya.
Nairobi, June 8. In the last hours of the night of June 7, the director of Medical Services of Kenya, Jackson Kioko, received at the Nairobi International Airport the second batch of the Cuban Medical Brigade, composed by 47 specialists, who will work in public hospitals of this African country, under an agreement between both Ministries of Health.
