Kenyan Foreign Minister Alfred Mutua, who is on an official visit to Cuba, learned in this capital on Tuesday about the history of the Fidel Castro Ruz Center, a public institution to study and disseminate the revolutionary leader's thinking, work, and life.
 

During a tour of the center that promotes research, interactive access to knowledge and the people’s permanent identification with their values, the head of Kenyan diplomacy was informed about the architectural and heritage values of the building.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla held official talks today with Alfred Nganga Mutua, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kenya, who is on an official visit to the island. The Foreign Ministry informed on its website that during the meeting both parties exchanged on issues of common interest and ratified the mutual willingness to strengthen political, economic, trade, and cooperation ties.

Cuban Public Health Minister José Ángel Portal and Kenya's Foreign Minister Alfred Mutua, on Tuesday held a meeting in Cuba´s capital to assess two-way health cooperation, the Public health Ministry (MINSAP) informed.
 

Portal reaffirmed that, in spite of the fact that the Cuban health system is facing a recovery process following the severe confrontation with Covid-19, “we are willing to share what we have”.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Kenya, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Vázquez, held a friendly meeting with Ababu-Terrah Namwamba, Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts.

During the exchange, they discussed the mutual interest of exploiting the potentials the two countries have in the field of sports. They agreed on the willingness to strengthen and rekindle the cooperation agreement previously signed between Cuba and Kenya on sports matters.
