Cubans in Kuwait remembered Che Guevara 50 years after his assassination in Bolivia
Kuwait, October 8, 2017. The Cuban Embassy in Kuwait and members of the Cuban medical brigade paid a well-deserved tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara on the 50th anniversary of his death in Bolivia and 20 years since his remains were transferred to the island.
Yuliagni La O López, member of the medical brigade presented an audiovisual material that gathers the life of the heroic guerrilla and read some poems inspired by his legendary figure.
Farewell activity of GRULAC in Kuwait to the Cuban ambassador

With the participation of the Heads of Mission of the Latin American and Caribbean Group, GRULAC, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Honduras, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua and Venezuela, a farewell activity was celebrated to the Cuban ambassador in Kuwait, Andrés González Garrido, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission.
The meeting, held in La Brasa Restaurant was an occasion for exchange and to reaffirm the friendship existing between Latin American and Caribbean countries.
In Kuwait was celebrated the 57th anniversary of CDR
Kuwait, September 28, 2017. The 57th anniversary of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) was held this Thursday in Kuwait with a small event organized by in the country's Cuban Medical Brigade and the diplomatic mission.
The participants emphasized that the CDRs, as an expression of the people's unity, have given their contribution in the most diverse tasks, such as cederista vigilance, blood donations, the fight against crime, illegalities and the social indiscipline.
