Cuba is the healthiest country in Latin America and beats the United States by five points, according to the latest report from the Bloomberg site.

Cuba ranks 30th in the ranking of healthiest countries in 2019, which indexes 169 nations according to its public health indicators.

The last edition was published in the year 2017 and Cuba occupied the 31st.

The largest of the Antilles is the first country in Latin America that appears on the list and one of the few in the third world that is among the top positions.

Wellington, 23 June 2017. In a friendly meeting held at the Embassy of Cuba with the heads of Mission of the GRULAC, the Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage, Maggie Barry, expressed her support for a greater exchange between New Zealand and Latin American nations.

During the event, the Ambassador of Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, offered details about the Latina America and Spain Film Festival (LASFF), which in its 2017 edition will have its inauguration at Te Papa Museum on October 20th, with the screening of the film "Cuba Libre", by Jorge Luis Sánchez filmmaker.
