Lebanese President thanks Cuba for its solidarity after explosion in Beirut

Beirut, August 20, 2020. The President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Aoun, sent a message of gratitude to his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, for his solidarity after the explosion in the port of Beirut on February 4. August.

In the letter, the Lebanese Head of State thanked the Cuban president for his condolences and the expressions of support and solidarity with the families of the victims of the explosion. "His message gave us confidence and let us know that we are not alone in the face of the consequences of this disaster." He delivered the message.
