Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia holds meeting with Head of Security.

Monrovia, September 2, 2021 - The Head of the Cuban Mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a working meeting with the Head of Security Mr. Peter Teah, with whom she had the opportunity to exchange on issues of interest to both parties.

Among the topics to be discussed at the meeting was the protection and security of the Cuban diplomatic headquarters.

Head of Cuban mission receives Liberian students studying in Cuba.

Monrovia, August 4, 2021.- This afternoon, the Cuban Embassy in Liberia received the visit of two of the Liberian students who are studying Medicine in Cuba through the Scholarship Plan offered by the Cuban government as part of the cooperation with the African country.

Francis Mahweah Jr. and Edvida B. Davies had a clear and cordial exchange with the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera where they showed all that Cuban solidarity is capable of achieving.

Cuban Embassy in Liberia receives visit from Dean of African Methodist Episcopal University.

Monrovia, July 30, 2021 - Today we received the always pleasant visit of Cuba's friend Dr. Augustine Konneh, Dean of the African Methodist Episcopal University of the Republic of Liberia.

The Liberian intellectual was received by the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera with whom he had a productive and gratifying exchange.

Monrovia, July 26, 2021.- President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez; and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez congratulated their respective Liberian counterparts on the occasion of the 174th anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of this West African nation.

Díaz-Canel extended warm congratulations to Liberian President George Manneh Weah.

International Day of Afrodescendant Women is commemorated at the Cuban Embassy in Liberia.

Monrovia, July 25, 2021.- The International Day for Afrodescendant Women is also known as Afro-Latin, Afro-Caribbean and Diaspora Women's Day. This date is closely related to International Women's Day, as it is another opportunity to vindicate the rights and dignity of women in general.

Liberian group of solidarity with Cuba together with Embacuba Liberia Collective participated in the virtual meeting "Cuba Vencerá".

Monrovia, July 21, 2021 - Last night, executives of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group joined the Cuban Embassy in Liberia and participated in the virtual event "Cuba Vencerá".

During the meeting they discussed the current situation in Cuba and the most recent events in the largest of the Antilles, the destabilization attempts promoted and financed from abroad and the unprecedented media onslaught against the Cuban revolutionary process.

Monrovia, July 20, 2021 - Liberians who graduated in Cuba, land that turned them into good men and women, expressed that Cuba is not alone.

They reaffirmed their support to the homeland of Commander Fidel Castro, an example of solidarity and internationalism, and made public their denunciation of the destabilizing attempts coordinated by the United States, which took place in Cuba last July 11.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association issues statement condemning provocative acts.

Monrovia, July 19, 2021 - The Liberia-Cuba Friendship group expressed its support for the people and government of Cuba at a time when attempts to strangle and destabilize the Cuban revolution are on the rise.

It condemned the riots that took place on July 11 as a result of an intense political operation financed by Washington to create instability in Cuba at a time of difficult conditions caused by COVID-19 and the tightening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade.
