STATEMENT BY THE REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT. IT IS IMPERATIVE TO HALT THE IMPERIALIST MILITARY ADVENTURE AGAINST VENEZUELA
The Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba condemns the escalation of pressures and actions of the US government in preparation for a military adventure under the guise of a “humanitarian intervention” in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and calls on the international community to mobilize in order to prevent its consummation.

Monrovia, October 31st, 2018-, The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Liberia, Mr. Bhofal Chambers, received on Wednesday the Cuban Chargé d'Affaires, Yordenis Despaigne Vera. The exchange took place in the framework of the courtesy visit made by the latter to say goodbye due to the end of his mission in Liberia. During the meeting was also present the Second Secretary Carmen Maury Toledo.

Monrovia, October 22nd, 2018- The Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Mr. B. Elias Shoniyin received on Tuesday afternoon the Cuban Chargé d'Affaires, Yordenis Despaigne Vera, on the occasion of the farewell of the latter for the end of his mission in Monrovia. Representing the Foreign Ministry of the West African nation, Mr. Abraham Corvah newly appointed deputy minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration as well as Mr. Benjamin Sloan senior desk officer of the Bureau for American Affairs also participated.

Monrovia, October 22nd, 2018-, On Monday afternoon the Commander-in-Chief of the Socialist organization Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL), Emmanuel Gonquoi, was received by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia, Yordenis Despaigne Vera. The Liberian delegation was also composed of Fatumata Massaquoi, General Secretary of the Women's Wing of the EFFL. On the Cuban side, the Second Secretary, Carmen Maury Toledo, also participated.
