Cuba's Chargé d'affaires in Liberia, Yordenis Despaigne Vera, paid a courtesy call to the Liberian Minister of Health, Dr. Bernice Dahn, who welcomed him at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health of that West African nation.The Cuban diplomat sent his counterpart a fraternal greeting on behalf of the government and Cuban health authorities, in particular the Minister of Health, Roberto Morales Ojeda.

Accompanied by several colleagues, Mr. Emmanuel Nuquay, Speaker of the Liberian House of Representatives, received the Charge d'Affaires of Cuba in Liberia, within the framework of a courtesy visit of the latter to the Liberian parliamentarian. The head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Liberia, Yordenis Despaigne Vera, was received in his office by the president pro-tempore of the Liberian Senate, Mr. Armah Zollu Jallah, senator for the county of Gbarpolu. The Liberian delegation was headed by Mr. Eugene Lenn Nagbe, current Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Liberia and secretary general of UP, accompanied by Isaac F. On Friday, January 27, the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Liberia celebrated the arrival of the 58th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.
