President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group ratifies solidarity with the Caribbean island.

Monrovia, February 5, 2024.- The Executive of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group paid a visit to the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia where they met with the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

In the exchange it was evidenced that the ties of solidarity and support to the Greater of the Antilles continue to be strengthened as respect to the dignity of our country and that solidarity cannot be blocked.

Cuban Head of Mission participates in inauguration ceremony of the new Liberian President.

Monrovia, January 22, 2024 - The inauguration of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung took place early this morning in the Liberian capital.

The historic event was attended by the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera who represented our nation as a member of the diplomatic corps accredited in the West African country.

The investiture took place at the Capitol of Monrovia and was attended by leaders and delegations from several countries.

Cuban Head of Mission attends inauguration ceremony of Liberian Foreign Ministry.

Monrovia, January 17, 2024 - At the invitation of Liberian Foreign Minister Dee Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera attended the inauguration ceremony of the restored Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia.

The event was attended by President George Manneh Weah, government officials of the Executive, as well as members of the 55th National Legislature.
