Cuba reiterated today its zero tolerance policy regarding any form of human trafficking, as well as the continuity of actions to prevent and confront this scourge and associated crimes.

Cuba's National Report on Preventing and Confronting Trafficking in Persons and Protecting Victims for the year 2022, published this day by the Cuban Foreign Ministry, detailed that in this period a national action plan is being implemented until 2024 to coordinate the actions of the State and civil society organizations.

The U.S. is calling for one million signatures for Cuba.

The International Peoples' Assembly launched today a call for one million signatures to pressure the US government to review and remove Cuba from the arbitrary list of sponsors of terrorism.

Democratic Senator Peter Welch affirmed that removing Cuba from the list of sponsors of terrorism is today a step that the United States can and should take to recompose its relationship with the island.

Welch, who has been a member of the U.S. Senate from Vermont since this year, presented a statement for the Congressional Record outlining opportunities to advance bilateral ties.

The economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba limits money orders and the parcel service on the island, said today the First Deputy Minister of Communications, Wilfredo Gonzalez.

Young people from the José Martí Solidarity Brigade visit Cuba.

Young members of the "José Martí" Brigade of Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba visited today the headquarters of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, in Cienfuegos.

The collective of the Cuba Mission in the United States today recalled the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, actions that marked a decisive stage in the Caribbean nation.
