General Assembly of the Malaysian Association of Friendship with Cuba took place
This July 23, the General Assembly of the Malaysian Association of Friendship with Cuba (FOCA) took place in Kuala Lumpur.
The meeting was attended by the Cuban ambassador to Malaysia, Florentino Batista González, who is an honorary member of the organization, and a group of Malaysian medical students who graduated from Cuba, who participated as observers.
Cuban ambassador in Malaysia met with directors of the National Book Development Foundation
This March 31, Florentino Batista González, Ambassador of Cuba in Malaysia, met with members of the National Book Development Foundation of Malaysia, to discuss issues of interest to the organization and the Caribbean country.
The meeting, which took place at the Cuban Embassy in Malaysia, was attended by the president of the Foundation, Hasan Hamzah, as well as its executive director, Dr. Roslan Bin Basaruddin, and other officials of the organization and the headquarters diplomat.
Cuban culture celebrated in Malaysia
The Embassy of Cuba in Malaysia organized this Wednesday, together with the Rotary Club of Petaling Jaya, a Cuban Night, a cultural and culinary event that brought together a hundred members of that organization, to share details about the life, culture and achievements of Cuba.
On this evening, guests were transported to the Caribbean nation through food, videos, music, costumes and rum.
Cuban Ambassador in Malaysia pays visit to UiTM
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Malaysia, Florentino Batista González, attended this Wednesday, January 26, the inauguration of an exhibition of art and Batiks -Malaysian traditional fabrics- at the MARA University of Technology (UiTM), located in the city of Shah Alam, capital of the State of Selangor.
This event was chaired by Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education of the Asian country, and Dr. Hajah Roziah Mohd Janor, Vice-Chancellor of the academic institution.
