Cuban Ambassador Holds Productive Meeting with Philippine Counterpart
Kuala Lumpur, January 23, 2026. The Ambassador of Cuba, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, held a productive meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, Her Excellency María Ángela A. Ponce, to discuss matters of common interest related to the development of bilateral relations.
This year, the Philippines and Cuba will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and exchanges between the two nations are being planned.
The Philippines-Cuba Friendship Association (AMISTAD) condemns Trump's threats against the Cuban people and government.

Kuala Lumpur, January 20, 2026. The Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, held a fruitful exchange with the Undersecretary of Americas Division of the Department of Bilateral Affairs, Ambassador Nur Azman Rahim, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
After reaffirming the close ties of friendship between Malaysia and Cuba, they discussed global issues of mutual interest and efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
