From Trinidad and Tobago Cuban compatriots demand the lifting of the blockade against Cuba.

Port of Spain, March 26, 2023. Nationals in Trinidad and Tobago raised their voices on behalf of Cuban residents, demanding that the US government lift the blockade against Cuba and expressed their rejection of the incorporation of our country by the US USA, on the spurious list of countries that supposedly support terrorism.

The leader of the Movement for Social Justice of Trinidad and Tobago, David Abdulah sent an open letter to the leaders of CARICOM, in which, among other reflections, he encourages them to work together with Canada with a view to urging the President of the United States to annul the measures adopted by former President Donald Trump to intensify the blockade and to exclude Cuba from the list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.

U.S. blockade is a constant pandemic, says Cuban Foreign Minister

Havana, Oct 19 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Wednesday described the hostile blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for over 60 years as a constant pandemic or hurricane, due to damages it causes to the country.

After detailing to the press a new report on losses generated by such a unilateral policy in the last six months, Rodríguez recalled that U.S. blockade is not merely the prohibition to buy in that nation, but the impossibility of acquiring financial resources to get goods in that market or in other ones.

Monrovia, October 10, 2022.- On World Day of Solidarity with Cuba and the closing of the Day for Peace and against the Blockade, directors of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group joined members of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia to celebrate the anniversary of the Cuban independence struggle and condemn the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade of the U.S. against Cuba.

Cuba denounces double standards of the U.S. regarding our country

Havana, Oct 1 (RHC) The deputy director general for the United States of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Johana Tablada, denounced on Friday the double standards of the U.S. government, which claims to support the Cuban people while it applies a tight economic blockade on the country.

In her Twitter account, the Foreign Ministry official stressed that if they wanted to help, they would reverse at least one of the hundreds of measures freely imposed by former President Donald Trump (2017-2021).

Next November 2nd and 3rd, the United Nations General Assembly will once again take into consideration the draft resolution calling for an end to the U.S. blockade against Cuba.

The U.S. government persists in ignoring the demands of the international community, and has intensified the blockade to unprecedented levels.

Havana, September 15, 2022.- The United Nations General Assembly will again consider the draft resolution calling for an end to the U.S. blockade against Cuba. The island's Foreign Affairs minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, announced in a tweet that for the 30th time, the top UN body will discuss the text on November 2 and 3.
