Demonstration of more than half a million people in Havana to denounce and demand the end of the criminal economic blockade of the United States against Cuba and the exclusion from the unilateral list of countries that sponsor terrorism

On Friday, December 20, a massive one-hour and 45-minute march took place in front of the U.S. Embassy in Cuba, with the participation of more than 500,000 people, representing the Cuban people.

The march was a massive demonstration to denounce and demand the end of the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba and the exclusion from the unilateral list of countries that sponsor terrorism by the United States.

We have been following with great concern the swift evolution of events in the Syrian Arab Republic, which has led to the overthrowing of the government of Bashar Al Assad by opposition armed groups.

We strongly call for the preservation of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Syria as well as respect for the integrity and security of diplomatic missions based in that Arab nation.

The ambassador of Cuba to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met at the Foreign Ministry with the Deputy Director General of the Department for the Americas, Middle East and Oceania, Mr. Battulga Ganbat.

The Cuban diplomat updated him on the severe damage suffered by Cuba and the state of recovery after 4 natural disasters: two hurricanes and two earthquakes that affected our country between October and November.
