II Annual Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba in the Netherlands

 

The Hague, June 29, 2024. The Second Annual Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba took place today at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands, where supportive friends and organizations gathered to show their support to Cuba and its condemnation of the genocidal US blockade against the island for more than 60 years, as well as its unjust inclusion in the spurious and unilateral list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism.

Amsterdam, June 17, 2024. DAM Square in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, was the venue once again, where friends of solidarity with Cuba met to express their condemnation of the US blockade and the maintenance of Cuba in its spurious and unilateral list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

Bicycle tour of historical points of interest in The Hague

The Hague, June 15, 2024. Representatives of the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands participated in the "Diplomats' Biking Spree 2024", a 14 km bicycle tour through several historical points of interest in The Hague.

The event included a short lecture at the Leonardo Royal Hotel related to the history of cycling in the Netherlands, its promotion, and the infrastructure built to facilitate it became the most popular means of transport in the country.

Graduation Recital at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, Netherlands

The Hague, June 14, 2023. The graduation recital of the Cuban musician Pablo Cruz took place this day at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. The saxophonist and composer is an advocate of Cuban jazz.

The artist was accompanied by musicians from different nations that study at the prestigious conservatory, who performed works of the Cuban musician, Pablo. There was also a tribute to Ernesto Lecuona, in a very personal arrangement for saxophone and tumbadoras of the outstanding work "La Comparsa".

Cuban Film inaugurated the Latin-Americans Film Week in Delft

Delft, June 12, 2024. The film “La Súper”, debut feature by experienced Cuban director Ernesto Piña, kicked off the Delft Latin American Film Week 2024. This presentation is part of the commemoration activities for the 65th anniversary of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC).
